So, I'm beginning to get frustrated with a school I've applied to. So far, they seem to not communicate very well (no response to email, uninformed people trying to answer questions over the phone and reluctant to transfer to the people I need to talk to) Also, when they reviewed my pre-requisite courses, they missed two courses I took, and subsequently told me that I need to take them. (That got cleared up. Actually the first truly productive communication I've had with them). So, am I getting frustrated for no reason? Is it just because of the large volume of applications they are processing? I don't know. I just feel that a school I may be considering spending the next three years of my life with should have their (expletive) together. sorry for the rant

Yes, I was talking about AP from high school. I'm applying for 3 Doctor of Physical Therapy programs, and math and bio are pre-requisites for each of them. When applying, I didn't see anything about NOT accepting AP credit, but I heard later that some programs don't. So I checked, and mine do accept them. Now I don't have to have a hectic summer schedule to finish up my pre-reqs.

No question here, but just wanted to express some relief. I had heard that some programs don't accept AP credit for their pre-requisites, and I had AP credit in Bio anc Calc. So I got in touch with the schools I applied to and they all accept it! Thats one less thing I have to worry about! Now I can take a deep breath and keep waiting. :|

The apps for the schools I applied to only started getting reviewed about a week ago. So my nervousness, anxiety, paranoia is premature and unwarranted at this point. So it also has no boundaries between weekday/weekend.

I've applied to UM Flint. I live in Michigan, but don't have any experience in Flint. Thanks!

Hey bearcat, I've applied to three schools in Michigan. The deadline was Jan 15th, and I got my apps in about a week early (would have liked to get them in earlier but I was finishing up volunteer hours and waiting on a LOR.) Anyway, haven't heard anything, but its only been a week for me. None have rolling admissions tho. Only one of them has an interview for the admissions process, so I expect to hear back from them the earliest. That is if I even get an interview (fingers crossed). The only timeline I saw was for Oakland University, which said that applicants would be notified of their status by mid-March. Good luck!!!
