It's quite far from campus about 10 min drive. It has their own shuttle to campus and supermarket every 30 min.

I accepted the offer last week, but I haven't heard anything back (again). I am international student, so I have to process I-20/DS2019. How long does it usually take?

It might be true, but you never know when the economy is going to improve.

I am in almost the same situation: applied to many schools, heard back half of them, accepted without funding except my undergrad institution. I think I am going to attend no funding school. I took some graduate classes, which can transfer if I stay at the same school, but I don't know what courses I am going to take after that. I think meet new people, create connections, and be in new atmosphere might be a good idea. You should ask whether you can get funding later on or not.

I would e-mail before Apr 15, and send mail afterward.

I am waiting for 7 schools!!! I e-mail them, but got only one response said my application is pending.

I think most people get into some schools and waiting for some schools. The problem is if everyone decide really close to April 15, schools don't have enough time to fill the empty spots. How can applicants decide on Apr 15 if they are still waiting for the results?

Sometime they send the letter to your permanent address. You should check it.

You should retake GRE. I've seen some people with lower score get in top universities, but you don't want to risk your chances.

Statement of purpose is important too.
