I want to get a MFE or PHD.finance after the economics master degree. Since I lack backgrounds in Maths and programming, which one of the programs will be best suited for me ? Duke-It is said to be a very flexible program. I can choose lots of finance courses from Fuqua or advanced maths from maths dept as electives. but the program is not as reputable as the one in NYU. NYU- the best reputable Master econ program in US, but the choose of electives are quite limited, I can only choose two courses outside the Econ dept. LSE- best in europe. Many thanx.
