Official decision NYU!!! I am actually EXTREMELY excited despite the cost of living

Rejected from BC! Finally...it sucks but it feels great to have an official decision NYU!

AHHH Still waiting on BC! I will be so upset if I get in after I accepted another program...

Hey All! So I got into 3 schools for my Master's already. One of the school emailed me March 10th telling me I was accepted and I would receieve things in the mail...so far nothing. I called Monday and got the run around then was told someone would call back...and of course nothing. I got into NYU but I am trying to be realistic and smart about the cost of tuition in addition to the cost of living. I already have loans from undergrad and I want to get a PhD eventually. I have not heard from my top choice. I called on Monday and was told the decisions would go out in a week or two...emailed them and was mistakenly told that I did not apply...called and found out I did have a current application that was under review. Told them they were my first choice however I was accepted at a school with a deadline of April 15th...They said that usually they try to get decisions around this time but utlimately it was up to the factulty. I have seen here that 2 weeks ago a few people were rejected which sucks for them but makes me feel like my application still has a chance. At this point I want to email the director of admission at the end of week asking about my status because it is my top choice. But I figure if I wait until next Saturday I will have to make a choice between my schools and give up on my top school. This process is so frustrating! Hoping to keep my hair in my head by the end

Hey I received it yesterday. It was somewhat helpful. I received some scholarship but not nearly enough...I am not sure that I want to take out such large loans for a Master's program especially because I want to apply to a PhD afterwards. The cost of living is so high it is making me think twice about going. I will call financial aid tomorrow to figure it all out.

Still waiting to hear from BC...called today said admissions decisions should be out in the next week or two which sucks since other schools have the April 15th deadline....so frustrating!

AHHHHH the same thing happened to me. I was emailed about 3 weeks again saying that I was recommended for admission. I haven't heard anything since. I emailed the person a week later they told me it takes awhile for them to send out letters but 3 weeks is a long time. I called today and was told someone would call me back and of course they didn't....so frustrating!

I was also accepted to NYU. I received my financial aid but I am still not sure if I want to go there. The cost of living is so high! I guess I have a week to decide..
