L08, congrats on Yale! I understand your concern...I received the notification emails requesting me to upload my decisions/financial aid. You may want to call and see if they have your correct email address and then check your spam to be sure it's not in there. Just in case, though: If I hear anything from them via email, I will be sure to post here. I'm sure you'll receive a snail mail notification as well as an email.

Just got an acceptance from SAIC this morning! My final tally is: SAIC: accepted CalArts: rejected UPenn: accepted

SAIC FVNM:I called yesterday and they told me that they sent them out yesterday! Is this departmental sloppiness? Is this disorganization indicative of the quality of the department? Or is this SAIC just having a lot on their plate?

Did anyone get an email from SAIC about the Margot and Thomas Pritzker Foundation? I'm super confused about what it means; I still haven't heard anything from the school.

No, I still haven't either, but I'm all the way on the east coast. I am really anxious about it. I got a weird email today, though, that was about a scholarship for grads and how to apply for it.

Hey guys, has anybody heard back from Penn about financing?

Hey Guys! I will be there on April 4th for the open house, but I have to admit I am pretty worried about financing a PennDesign education. I love that PennDesign is incorporated so freely into UPenn's academic world; it seems like there are a lot of opportunities to expand in different directions. But I'm nervous: I've heard that they don't give much financial aid and they are by far the most expensive tuition on my list of schools... I applied for the JCK scholarship, but those decisions come out in early May, so that wouldn't really factor in for Penn (who has kind of an early notification date, non?) We're all getting our formal acceptances and aid breakdowns within the next week-- what do you guys think? Are any of you in a similar financial pinch?

I applied for their Interdisciplinary/new media offering and I had my interview on valentine's day. I considered them primarily because my live-in boyfriend is a first year in medical school at Penn, so it would allow me to stay here with him.

Hi Everyone! I'm new to grad cafe, and I just applied to a few MFA programs this year. I am waiting for responses-- I'm sure just as anxious as all of you out there. My rundown looks like this so far: PennDesign (accepted) SAIC - Film Video New Media CalArts - Experimental Animation As I've been reading the thread, I haven't seen anyone applying to these majors at SAIC or CalArts... Is anyone else waiting to hear from these programs?
