I am an international student switching from engineering to public policy - I am interested in eventually working at a thinktank or multilateral organization doing international development type stuff. I am trying to decide between the MPP program at GPPI & the MA at the Elliott School (GW). Anyone have an opinion - are there any IDev rankings available ? I know G'town seems to have a slight edge in terms of prestige but the comparisons I have seen are usually made between GPPI & Trachtenburg. What bout between GPPI & Elliott ? Grateful for any input ! These are trying times ... can't wait to be done with the decision already :-)

So I just received an email back from admissions confirming that my %6k merit fellowship is only applicable for one year. Any of you in the same situation ? Any idea if second year funding is unreliable in that case.

I applied for the part time MA program to Elliott and received an email of admission and funding yesterday. Any alumni present ? I would like to know if its possible to switch concentrations around in these programs.
