      Wow, unbelievable. I'm especially shocked by the person who said, “These boys have to live with this the rest of their lives.” Um.... hello? They are not the victims in this situation!

    I also e-mailed a professor two weeks ago and he informed me that I was currently tenth on a wait list and that, obviously, my prospects were not great for admission. It was a nice e-mail. Obviously not the ideal result but I was happy they liked my application somewhat. Good luck I hope things work out for you---
