Can anyone tell me if I have any chance at being admitted? Or what I have to do to be admitted in SUNY or UC Irvine's Criminology Ph.D. program. I am a licensed lawyer from another country. I have also passed both the New York and California Bar Examination. I was an honor student in college. I didn't do so well in law school though. I left my country immediately after I took the bar exam and only went back home to take my oath and get my license. Thus, other than my stint as a law intern while in law school, I've never really practiced law. I am planning to volunteer at the Innocence Project in New York.
