lily82
Can anyone tell me if I have any chance at being admitted? Or what I have to do to be admitted in SUNY or UC Irvine's Criminology Ph.D. program. I am a licensed lawyer from another country. I have also passed both the New York and California Bar Examination. I was an honor student in college. I didn't do so well in law school though. I left my country immediately after I took the bar exam and only went back home to take my oath and get my license. Thus, other than my stint as a law intern while in law school, I've never really practiced law. I am planning to volunteer at the Innocence Project in New York. You'd need to include more information about your undergrad and law GPA, GRE scores, and the like. Also note that California has some major budget issues, so unfortunately it can be hard for international students to gain admission and even harder to get funding.
