I'm in the same boat pretty much. SFSU wants me to respond by April 1st but UCLA has said they won't send out decisions until the very end of March or early April! My plan is to wait until the last week of March, call UCLA (and any other programs I'm still waiting on) to find out if they can tell me anything, and if not, tell SFSU that I do accept the application. If I get some good news after that from one of my other programs I can cancel SFSU (not a nice move, but I don't really see any way around it).

Sorry to hear that... Was it for NYU's MA in cinema studies, or another program? I haven't heard anything back from NYU and I've been checking my email 24/7 Has anyone heard from Northwestern (PhD) or UCLA (MA cinema studies)? I called UCLA today and they said they won't be sending out decisions until the end of March or early April!! I got into a program that wants to hear back from me by April 1st so I don't know what to do!?!?!
