what was your undergrad degree in and what coursework?

Really, you think people go to grad school for stats because they are indecisive about what to do?? ?maybe so, that isnt the case with me.... With a good math background you could always go the actuarial rote, I want to do statistics(biostatistics) because I really enjoy it a lot.

Im not even sure if even they even read the analytical writing part. I didn't write much and got a 5. I forgot there was even a writing section when I went in.Honestly, I wouldn't worry about this section at all.

I seemed to have somewhat of a panic situation too. In my practice. I took about 12 practice exams, scoring greater than 700 Q and ranged about 450-500 V every time; this is the score I was hoping for as well. I didn't once practice or even think about the analytical writing section, and when it came up during exam time, I wrote both of the essays in about 5 minutes and somehow managed to score a 5/6. The rest of it didn't go to well; as I felt simultaneously exhausted and extremely anxious.

I applied there ;but, for the MSPH program. I think they are a fine school. What area are you looking to do research in?
