From what I've heard its a program to consider. I didn't realize they offered an MFA otherwise I would have applied!

Heading to the airport in a few hours. Mine interview is not until Monday but I want to be there for the sculpture thesis reception on saturday night. Honestly I am more nervous about flying than the interview. The interview committee is not out to get us. They are just interested in getting to know us and see how we handle ourselves. We'll all have butterflies walking into it but remember they asked us to come talk to them. Its a two way street so if it doesn't jive then it might mean that the program is not the right fit. Anyway good luck!

Yeah, UC Irvine notified those accepted via phone around the 8th. Official paperwork came a week later.

I had a skype interview last Tuesday. I thought it went well and they said they would get back to me by the end of the week but they never contacted me again. I'd guess the letters are rejections. It sounded like everyone admitted gets and interview and that all interviews were completed last week. Not sure if this is 100% but for all the USC hopefuls (myself included) an optimistic outcome no longer looks likely.
