I wasn't told explicitly that I was on the waiting list but based on what was written in the results section of the page, I knew that a bunch of people had been accepted already and some had been rejected and then I got a letter sent out the friday before the 15th which makes me think that I was on the waiting list.
It doesn't matter anyways! I sent in my non-refundable check yesterday!
No funding. I didn't really expect anything. My understanding is that that PhDs take most of the money at NYU.
