Congrats to you, too! I'm studying counseling psychology. You? I've been emailing with some current doc students and here are some nearby neighborhoods they've mentioned: Vilas, Willy St., James Madison Park, and Eagle Heights. Those are all relatively close to campus (not sure of the mileage).
