What about for people who want to get into industry after the MS? How much does ranking matter there?

I've been looking at the repayment options for Federal Direct Loans and they are retarded. Most of the options require me to pay in 10+ years. I want to take out a loan of around $20-30k for 2 years for my MS, and I'm pretty certain I can repay that amount in another 2-3 years max! I don't want to drag it out over 10 years paying shit loads of interest. Is this possible?

I'm waiting too. I've heard they give out admits in early June typically. That is irritating. ><

I have an admit to CMU INI MSISTM. Is this program worth the total expenditure of $60k without any hope of reducing this through tuition waivers? Should I be going for University of Utah MS CS or Ohio State( not yet gotten, but hopefully will ) MS CS instead? I can afford CMU, but I have serious doubts if this is actually worth such a heavy sum. Especially when the chances of completing other programs with < $10000 through tuition waivers is quite high. I'm a mostly independent learner. Looking for a job after this. Not averse to research - it will be fun. Interested in HPC, Languages and Systems. Opinions?
