I applied to CWRU BME department and have been contacted with a professor who seems interested in my application, however, I was just informed that I'm not on the list for open house invitation award. So...does it mean I have been rejected already? Anybody familiar with the idea of Open House Invitation Award please help!

Hi everyone , I'm a student from China, studying in the States and now applying for master programs in Canada... What do you guys think about the difference, or say the comparison, of the universities between the States and Canada? For example, if my university, U of NE- Lincoln, compare to UWO or McMaster. (My major is Biomedical Engineering). What do you think?
