has it occurred to anyone that returning to this forum on an hourly (or sometimes by the minute) basis might add, just a LITTLE, to the feeling that the wait is overbearing?, just a thought

the person said within a week, which means, within a week. i doubt they would have told anyone such a definite answer if there was still uncertainty

so if one puts an anticipated graduation date of 2 years about, do you think they factor that into the decision? i mean, given that the funds are for 3 years...ugh, i hope not.

i should have figured out a good way to mention that i'm gay to up my chances then

interesting...yea, this is my last year to apply for it...i completely changed my research proposal this year though, so the HM last year probably will be independent of if i get it this year...i wrote about industrial engineering principles applied to animal shelters last year and they totally loved it (though my research experience is what didn't put me over the line), though i probably got some animal lovers on that panel. so yea, it definitely could depend on the reviewers heartstrings

i wonder what the stats are of getting it given that you got honorable mention the year before
