I am going to do PhD in System and Industrial Engr at U of Arizona (UA). All I know about this department is that it is ranked top 20. Could anyone provide more information about the school and department's reputation and enviornment? Thanks for any comments!

I have to say that UCLA is more decent than UBC though UBC is widely known as a Canadian Ivy. I applied to UBC as well. But I withdrawn UBC and go for U of Arizona. I know many people consider UBC a better school than Arizona and a MAS from UBC can help me to have a position from a top US school, but I think opportunities there at UA might be better.
