  1. I just spoke with Cara about the Bangladesh Fulbright applicants. She said they're still waiting to hear back concerning the budget (i.e., number of grants). Who's applied to Bangladesh? I believe there were four other people who put their information on The Spreadsheet.
  2. Hey, crimson. How do I add my information to the spreadsheet? Cheers
  3. I realize my post is coming at you a bit later, and that you've probably already applied to several PhD programs, but you should also check out the University of Utah. They do a lot of work with American Indian languages, including South and Central Amerindian languages. They've got several extensive projects with Shoshone (at their Center for American Indian Languages) and are one of the best schools in the U.S. for documentary linguistics. Cheers!
  4. If this was in response to my posting, you misread what I wrote. I said that the Fulbright is more competitive than JET. Great statistics, though.
  5. You should most definitely accept the ETA grant! You can always reapply for JET, and it's not nearly as competitive or prestigious.
  6. Hey, all! I'm also new to this site. Say, has anyone who applied to Bangladesh (ETA) heard back? Cheers
