I got off the waitlist today, from NYU-Steinhardt, dietectics. =) Accepted I mean, after contacting someone in the program .

I can post here now too! <3. Am visiting my boyfriend in Canada ( I live in the US), and got up, did chores, then logged on his computer to check my mail. I had sent an email yesterday inquiring about the wait-list ( to someone I had spoken to a month ago), and was told that because I was persistant he checked my file, sent it to the admissions committee, and they decided to accept me! ...i then had a breakdown of joy and called my mother and father crying, as well as my aunt. Yea! \o/

!!! I am excited to post that I got accepted off the wait-list today! .

Well, realistically speaking, some people might bail in the summer (hopefully). And no , I didn't speak to her. I'll keep you updated, just sent off another e-mail.

Same here :/. I've been told realistically about July were gonna here but...meh ._.

Not yet :|. The person I talked to said "hopefully in a week" which was... a week ago.

Talked to the department-- they're still processing accepted students, and I was told bout a week.

Oh christ, that is music to my ears at least. I do not, but I do plan to email them soon.

Well, I got wait-listed via e-mail. I live about 20 mins from the university itself-- but I didn't get notified via postal service. I would call them, and ask -- also if you could find out when decisions have to be in by (those who got accepted), that would be great!

So, I just got waited listed at NYU Dietectics department. The deadline was feb 1st, I doubt their acceptance deadline is that late. So april 15th doesnt apply to me now, does it?

Erm, it took a WEEK for mail to get from Canada to the US... I was up in Canada to see my bf, mailed a postcard to US...didnt get here till a full week later =X. SO yes, Canada mail can be really slow!

Just called (bc I'm anxious), and was told their sending out letters now. eek.

Yes, it says the end of March on the website. Bah.

Well, I feel better knowing there are at least 2 other people in the same boat as me. I'm probably going to email them next week if I still haven't heard anything =|.

From various researching, it seems this program sends out their decisions late (the webpage says late March). But yes, I am eagerly waiting hearing anything from them =/. How long it took them to send out past decisions is also helpful.
