@serenewinds Yeah you're absolutely right. I never thought I would care much about my Queens application. But when the rejection came I was sooo down that it took me at least a couple of days to recover. Just hang in tight. We all will get something positive.....

Well...I think first they review the PhD applications and then comes Masters. Because first round of letters for PhD's are already out for most of the schools, and they are waiting for the acceptance and rejections of offers by the applicants to sort out the second round of letters. I'm doomed I guess.... . Never had luck with the waitlist theory... My best wishes to all of you out there..... !!

I guess my hopes are gone as well. Well....I'm just being realistic; not optimistic.

I am just scared to ask them about the waitlist ranking.... I guess I'll just wait it out and suffer in the meantime. Thanks everygirl for your words of hope.....means a lot right now

@ poliscijunkie Yeah I have received the mail from UVic telling me that the first round has gone out. And I mailed Teresa couple of days ago and got a reply immediately saying the adcomm still haven't made any final decisions regarding my application. The first round has gone out from UWO as well. Then they will see how many slots left and then decide and let me know by an e-mail. I think this probably puts me on the waitlist (or a possible rejection list). :-( :-( :-( What about you? Any update...?

Well...I got the same reply from UWO yesterday. Don't have any clue what to do. So, just waiting and keeping my fingers crossed and wishing me the best ....

Got a rejection e-mail from Queens a week ago. Possible rejection from UVic as well . No reply from UToronto. Waitlisted on UWO....I guess I'll have to give up my hope of PhD this year....
