Does anyone know when alternates can expect to be notified if they will be getting a fellowship? I'm an alternate and although the chances are slim, I'm interested to find out when I might hear something. Thanks!

Congrats! Sounds like this was your year for fellowships! When is the deadline to accept or decline the Ford?

Have the acceptances gone out? Congrats to those who are/will be accepted! I found out yesterday that I'm an alternate so although I'm disappointed I'll hold on to the sliver of hope that someone will decline in psychology.

I'm in Clinical Psych. This waiting is getting agonizing! Though one of the first years in my program received the Ford Fellowship last year (2010) and she said the Rejections and Honorable Mentions went out by email before the award notifications by email, so maybe no news is good news? Who knows what they are doing this year but I'm hoping we'll find out soon!
