I emailed the graduate coordinator yesterday and she responded today and told me that I was put on the wait list, but she couldn't tell me where I am on the list and that she would find out and let me know. For some reason they have made all the decisions, but have been slow getting out notifications.

I went to school in Long Beach with a man who is studying at NMSU in the Rhetoric and Communication Ph.D. and he loves the program. He says the city is wonderful and the program is small, but it feels like a small family.

Anyone else heading to the University of New Mexico. Right now I live in Los Angeles and I'm a little nervous about the move. I've only been to Albuquerque once, it was nice, but I don't know the area that well.

I received a letter from Texas A&M U on Feb. 26th and it said I've been waitlisted. A friend of mine got a rejection letter the next day from them and we both live in California.
