FYI: Heard back from SSHRC and the waitlists are very particular to the subgroups of the selection committees. I know that I am 3rd on the list of my subgroup, which is the upper part of the list. The cutoff score for my area was 17.3 and my score was 16.8. I likely won't hear anything for a couple of months and it could be not until August that I might be offered the fellowship....depending on acceptances and the chance that other funding becomes available.

Posting from Vancouver. Just got SSHRC letter in mail today, dated April 21st. I'm on the waitlist and hope to hear back from a program officer in the next couple of days with more information of my chances. Talked to UBC today and apparently there are 28 on the waitlist. Does anyone know what my chances would be? This is my third year applying and my last shot at a SSHRC.
