Hi, I did my masters in comp sc from Texas Tech University (GPA 3.7) with thesis on distributed computing. Sadly no publications! My GRE is 1120(760+360). I have 2 yrs full-time work ex in software development. With a good SOP and some nice LOR's, what are my chances of getting to CS PhD in the following univs: 1. Univ of Colorado - Boulder 2. VA Tech 3. SUNY stony brook 4. Michigan state univ 5. UT Dallas 6. Florida state univ 7. Univ of Houston - Clear Lake BTW, I will be applying for Spring 2012!! (I know, its kinda weird)

Hi All, My name is Santosh. I am planning to do my PhD in CS. Please rate my profile and suggest me some good univs. 1. I did my masters in CS from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX. I did my thesis on Grid Computing and graduated with a GPA of 3.7/4.0. (sadly no publications!!) 2. I am planning to give my GRE soon. Verbal is not my forte. I hope to get 1200+(like 770Q, 450V). Though I will try for 800Q 3. I can get good rec letters from my profs - PhD in Purdue. 4. I have 2 yrs of full-time work ex; 1yr in India and 1 yr in US Now my biggest question - What univs have Spring admits for PhD in CS (hopefully distributed/parallel/grid/cloud computing) that suite my profile?
