GRE: Q:165 V: 163 GPA: 3.75 (2nd Tier State) The AIS system shows that I've submitted all the required documents, and I've sent emails to multiple people in the Petroleum department. So far no response of any kind.

Is anyone still waiting for a response from TAMU? I still haven't received any communication from the TAMU Petroleum department, and my emails have gone unanswered.

I can't make it to the MIT open house, but I'd love to hear what you guys think of it when you go.

For everyone accepted to MIT in the HPS program: Is anyone planning on attending the Open House?

I just got the UIUC acceptance email. I'm a little disappointed I wasn't considered for funding. Only waiting to hear from Stanford now.

I'm still waiting to hear from UIUC, UCB, and Stanford. I don't have much hope left at this point.

Does anyone know when UIUC will be making admission decisions? I know their visit day was few weeks ago, but it doesn't appear they've sent out any notifications yet.

You're right; I see that now. Well, that's pretty disappointing. I really figured I had a good shot at the M.Eng. program. Has anyone reported that they've been accepted to the High Performance Structures program? I'd be interested in seeing their stats.

For what it's worth, the MIT CEE department website says that notifications will be sent "Mid March through April 1" So it may be to early to throw in the towel just yet.

I applied for the MIT M.Eng. program as well, and I haven't heard anything yet. Maybe we'll know today...
