  1. I don't think so. I'm pretty sure you can only hold one major fellowship at a time....
  2. Thanks for doing this! I just found out I got HM for the NSF so I'm keeping my figures crossed for this one. Best of luck to everyone!
  3. Thanks. I didin't get an email. I just checked online and found that I got an HM
  4. Does anyone know how to access the reviewer comments?
  5. At this point, asking to update your CV probably wouldn't make a difference. I wouldn't worry as long as you mentioned it as in prep or something like that.
  6. I had a phone interview last week that went very well and was told that my name would be put in for a university fellowship as well as my POI stating that they wanted me to join their lab. I wonder if I can consider that an unofficial acceptance or if I am jumping the gun here.
  7. I had a question along these lines as well. I had a phone interview last week that went very well and was told that my name would be put in for a university fellowship as well as my POI stating that they wanted me to join their lab. I wonder if I can consider that an unofficial acceptance or if I am jumping the gun here.
  8. Hi everyone. Does anyone know if interviews are par for the course for everyone applying to grad school? I have been hearing so much about interviews but am unsure if my area of focus even has them. I also got accepted into one school without an interview or attending a recruiting weekend. For the other schools, I either met with or had extended e-mail exchanges with my POIs well before applications were even due so I don't know if I will have another 'interview' with them. Sorry if this seems like grad school 1-0-1 but I am just so unsure about what to expect.

  10. In such a short amount of space, it's more like an advertisement than an actual proposal anyway. NSF is another story...
  11. I e-mailed the office and here is the response I got back after asking if references were to be included in the two page limit: "Yes. There is no separate document upload for source citations. If you decide to include them in your research proposal essay, we suggest that you keep them brief, as they will count towards the maximum page limitation. " I took this to mean that they had to be double spaced and chose to write the essay in such a way that I need not include them.
