I emailed the dept asking for status and the coordinator responded with the following: The committee has made about 70 offers and do not expect to be making any more. While they have not fully decided yet, it seems unlikely at this stage that you will be admitted to our PhD program. I've been told that the rest of the PhD decisions are expected to be announced about mid-March. Oh well!

The UT Direct website still says my app is being reviewed, the CS dept website has no useful information about status. Are people calling in to check now?
