  1. I really need some advices. I am in the middle of thinking whether to go for grad school or keep working. I got accepted by Stanford for MS CS. I had been very enthusiastic to go there; and I know there are several great groups in the department that I want to join. The problem is: I just got a into work with a great job and high end salary for fresh undergraduate in a trading company in Chicago. I still like to go for the work, although a MS degree is still tempting. Particularly a MS degree can probably raise the chance to scale up salary as well as networks in industry. thanks a lot ^^
  2. Congratz to tchiman27 for the acceptances. I just graduated from UIUC last december. And I would like to share you some insight about the school. It has decent programs and excellent faculties in both RF and IC fabrication field. Moreover, the current head of department, Prof Cangellaris is a very excellent professor in EM and RF field. I had been taught by him in EM class last december, and he taught us both the theory and the practical aspect of the course brilliantly. I heard that there would be many big new projects in the RF field, though i'm not so sure about it. Contacting the faculties in both schools will give you a lot more informations. Good luck and congratz!. offered: Stanford, Gatech, UIUC, Cornell (BME) rejected: MIT, UCB waiting: uMich (BME) all Master degree
  3. I was from UIUC, applying there and haven't heard any reply yet.. accepted: Stanford (MS) rejected: MIT, UCB waiting: Cornell, Michigan (both have been contacted), UIUC, Gatech
