I am mainly looking at apartments directly to the east of campus. Does anyone know if there is a "best" direction to live from campus if one wants to avoid as much of the undergraduate scene as possible?

Did it just show up on your ASU account, like did your status change from "In Review" to Accepted? or did you get an email sent to the ASU email they gave you?
I was just accepted in the Bioarchaeology Ph.D. program. I received a phone call from my advisor. I sent formal e-mails of accpetance to the right people, but my status on the MyASU page still says "In Review". I guess it just takes some time for them to process, depending on the department. Good luck.

I have been accepted into the Bioarchaeology Ph.D. program at ASU. I have been looking online for apartments near the campus, but I can't seem to find any 1 bedroom apartments for under $600 - is this the average price? I would love to live very near downtown and campus as I have lived most of my life in Downtown Saint Louis, MO. Also, does anyone knows if I will have trouble finding availability if I can't get to Tempe and sign a lease until May? Thanks for the help.

To be honest, it's because I know that if I were them, I would take a small amount of pleasure in knowing that every minute, I was knowingly crushing the souls of graduate students across the nation. That's just me. I've decided to just lighten up about the whole thing and roll with the punches - no matter how hard they may fall soon enough.
