Sorry for a digression from the above posting. Is it a "must" to visit schools once you get accepted? Would it be frowned upon by the schools if I decline to visit due to busy work schedule?

I called Columbia. They said I will receive the result within a week. sucks.

I emailed the administrative assistant there today but haven't heard from him yet. I believe people accepted have been already notified? I guess no news yet is definitely bad news.

Anyone heard from Columbia yet? I emailed a professor at Duke to inquire about my application status last week. He replied back saying that I got dinged. :oops:
