I just heard back from Columbia today via email. Biosciences visit weekend is March 2-5, and the second visit weekend is March 23-25. It's good to hear that they're still making decisions!

It's probably more like triple to quadruple that (e.g. 75-100). Harvard's (at least for chemistry) matriculation rate is roughly 50%, which is the highest among all chemistry grad programs, at least I'm told.

Same here - just checked my mailbox an hour ago, and I got a letter of acceptance from Harvard dated January 18. I didn't get any other form of notification (i.e. no email like one of the above posts suggested).

Scripps Florida offered me an interview two and a half weeks ago that I apparently did not receive, but I received a "follow up" email this morning. Feb 24-25 and March 23-24 are the interview dates.

I just heard back from Berkeley via email - don't remember what sub-field I applied under, but either chemical bio (if it was an option) or organic. Sounds like they're staggering the notifications based upon others in this thread having being accepted earlier this month.

I just got an e-mail invitation to interview for Harvard Chemical Biology (which is different from Chemistry and Chemical Biology, CCB). Interview dates are Feb 10 and Feb 17.

For chemical bio, the visit weekend is March 16-17 - they will send this info out soon if they haven't already. I'm not sure about physical, but my guess is that it's a general chemistry visit weekend. Congrats, JLK! Hopefully, the rest of us will hear back from Scripps soon (and hopefully with good news).

Same here but for organic. I submitted my app Nov. 19, and my three recommendations were completed on Dec. 13. Looks like they're making decisions quickly!
