  1. Dear all, I'd like to ask for your opinion about designing a test to measure the efficacy of a Personal Development and Well-Being Program. Research protocol Step 1: participants are randomly divided in three groups (group B and group C are each 1/3 the size of group A): Group A) To receive the whole program, delivered weekly for five weeks Group To receive half of the program, delivered weekly for five weeks Group C) To receive various inspirational readings, which are not part of the program, for five weeks Step 2: all participants receive two questionnaires (one is based on AmAre variables, one is a third-party assessment of subjective well-being) to fill: before they start the test after two weeks the test started at the end of the test Step 3: all results are collected in a spreadsheet, divided in three groups Step 4: groups receive additional updates: Group A) Thanked for taking part in the test Group Receives other half of the program Group C) Receives the real program No one is provided any information about the research protocol. Step 5: remaining participants (Group B and C) receive two questionnaires (one is based on AmAre variables, one is a third-party assessment of subjective well-being) to fill after they took the full program. Step 6: data is analyzed to see statistically significant patterns in: changes in AmAre variables assessment at each check-point changes in subjective well-being assessment at each check-point Step 7: results are published If you would like to share your inputs, suggestions, etc. About this protocol, that would be greatly appreciated! Also, which kind of "n" sample would be advisable for such test? THANKS! Frank http://www.amareway.org/
