Hello. Our group has developed a new website that is a platform for creating and managing online newspapers. We are currently seeking journalists interested in creating digital newspapers in exchange for a large share of advertising revenue. Here is how it works: newspapers are town-based; the first person to register in a town is automatically named Editor-in-Chief of the town's newspaper. Any registered user can submit a story to their town's newspaper. Stories submitted by non-editors are not published until approved by an editor. The Editor-in-Chief may make any registered user an editor. News stories may include text, photos and videos. Stories are published during the date range set by the editor, and when stories expire they are sent to the newspaper's searchable archive. The platform includes a self-service advertising process that lets advertisers create, submit and pay for advertisements that display in the newspaper. Advertising fees are paid directly to the PayPal account of the Editor-in-Chief. In turn, newspapers pay us a percentage of their advertising revenues; the higher the ad revenues, the lower the percentage. For example, newspapers pay a fee of 3% on ad revenues over $1,000 per month. Newspapers with no ad revenues pay no fees whatsoever. Users upload information about places and events such as restaurants, museums, parks, historic sites, etc. The result of combining a tourism guide with a newspaper is a comprehensive and attractive resource for a town's residents and visitors.
