      Mediaphile- it's happened to me with three schools, including my top 2 choices! ARGH!

      Ameonna- I totally agree. Better than rejection. But I still can't believe they treat backups like that. I know with one school, I've pretty much decided to withdraw because of this whole thing. We (or just I, idk) could be waiting until April! SO NOT COOL!

      Wait- just to clarify, you DID mean to say that they take their sweet ol' time just to tell you, right? Because I had a mini heart attack with the thought in my head "I'm not even on the FIRST waitlist?!"

      The waitlist to tell waitlisters they're on a waitlist, making them wait just a bit longer to find out they have to wait even longer. Swell!
