I'm planning to apply to MPA/MPP programs for Fall 12 session and I would like to get any advice or suggestion on the selection of schools.
Major: Economics.
GPA: 3.9
GRE: V: 720 Q: 740 AW: 3.5
Languages: Spanish and Korean (proficient in writing and speaking).
International Experience: Grew up and stayed until finishing high school in South America.
Experiences: Research assistant (Sociology – African-American discrimination)
Intern at Orange County Public Defender office.
Intern at a law firm.
Some mission trips as interpreter to Mexico to provide healthcare and food .
Leadership role at some clubs.
Worked at Community Rep. at a school
About to work at Asian Pacific Legal Center (non-profit org.)
I am interested in Social Policy & Internation Affairs. I would like to work for non-profit orgs, NGOs, governemt, UN, etc.
