Did any of you receive letters from the the Department Chair after you application was submitted that described what their program offers in terms of funding, etc.? I'm wondering if this is a good omen or if it just standard....I only received it from one school, University of Kansas.

¡Buenas! Postulé a UC Davis, Univ of AZ, NM, Kansas, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, UIC, Purdue, Temple, Boston U, CU Boulder y Temple!!! Es demasiado, ¿no? jeje....igual estoy súper ansiosa. Parece que ya empezaron a salir noticias. ¡Suerte a todos!

hey, anyone know how much they weigh the campus interviews? mine went really well. i'm applying for an ETA to portugal and i'm confident about my essays. the only thing that concerns me is my project is really vague. they kinda said it should be, because we have no idea where we will be placed. i hope that doesn't hurt me. i just really alluded to volunteer work as a way to integrate myself into the community and that volunteer work would depend upon the needs of the community in which i was placed.

Does anybody know if we are actually going to receive an email on January 31st or if that is just the deadline for them to notify us about the first round? ETA for Portugal, btw....
