I want to apply for business, operation management. My background is Electrical Engineering. I did some work on designing liberalization model during my undergrad studies. Then, during my research in EE, I became more familiar with approximation algorithm (one of research topic in operation management). Then, I took microeconomic course, to become more familiar with this filed. After that, i really feel that i like doing research in this filed. So, I decided to apply. I was wondering if this story is enough for writing SOP. I think it is not very interesting. I don't know how I can show in my SOP that I have motivation for doing PhD in IOM.
