  1. I'm a junior and currently have a 3.0 GPA overall and a psych gpa of 3.5. I didn't do as well this semester as id hoped so I think my GPA may drop to a 2.999. I haven't taken the gre yet but plan to in the summer and am averaging a 1200 or so on practice tests. I am also involved in a lab, plan on submitting to conferences in the fall and became third author on a study that has just been submitted for publication. anyways, I plan on applying mainly clinical programs with forensic emphasis this fall and am not sure if I will get in anywhere let alone my top school (u of Nebraska Lincoln). Do you think I have a shot?
  2. im mainly interested in clinical cus I want to do competency evaluations, jury selection and clinical treatment.
  3. Does anyone know of good graduate programs for forensic psychology? Im interested in either just getting a PhD in forensic psychology or joint JD/PhD in clinical, but have only seen a few schools listed on the psychology and law website and have no idea if these are good schools or if there are others out there. please help
  4. I am currently a junior at UNT and was wondering if anybody could give me some pointers on how to get into UT's clinical program. Right now I am a research assistant to a grad student and active in the center for psychosocial health lab. I plan on conducting my own research over the summer and submitting it to conferences and am also looking for an internship. I have a 3.8 psych GPA and am projecting an overall GPA of 3.6 by the time I graduate. Oh, and I am a member of psi chi. What else do i need to do to ensure a spot there? I really love the campus and the resources they offer. Please Help!
