Finally got the email, didn't get the fellowship. Seems everyone who has received it this late is an applicant for the dissertation fellowship and is getting an HM. Sounds a bit fishy but probably just my paranoia.

Thanks for this info grader_ade. I called and just as you said, they seemed to be entirely unaware that a good many of us had not received an email. They said to send an email to infofell@nas.edu to inquire about the status.

I've called a couple times today already and nobody answers so their offices may simply be closed for Easter Monday. Has anyone gotten an email today?

Why? Just because you didn't get an email today? If so, I wouldn't worry (in fact, I'm not worried). Last year they spread out the emails over 3 days.

Yep, me too. I'm waiting to hear about the dissertation fellowship as well.

I'm curious, what did the subject of the emails say? Is it different for those awarded the fellowship than for those not awarded?

I submitted for the doctoral fellowship and I haven't heard anything yet either.

That's not for eligibility. It clearly says the application is open to ALL US Citizens but that people who fall into one of the categories you listed will get special consideration.
