Anybody going to Stanford's visit day on March 8th and 9th?!

I m in EE. My visit days are March 8 and 9th. is aero the same? Stanford will reimburse you for flight, transportation, hotel, and restaurants..... So rich.........................

a professor from a school i applied reached me and want to talk about my research interests, and we had a phone interview. it is not like an interview, but like a information exchange. Do people send thank you letter after phone interview with potential advisor?

how did you write to them? I only got one reply from Stanford's professor.. he said" if you are interested in stanford, please apply through the application system" T_T. but i m really interested in his research!

i m stucking at the same issue. i have a professor who has won a lot of awards for teaching. i took his class and got an A and I was the top scorer in a class of more than 200 students. i think he is only going to write me a letter about academic performance nothing else. and i m choosing from a professor i did research for, but not a good experience.... and him.... i dont know which one to choose........

Background: GPA: 3.95/4.0 top U in the US. major rank top 25 in the US. stayed for two years and a half (EE) 4.0/4.0 some unknown college in the US . no rank 80/100.... a top 50 university in China not the same major (economics.... not related to EE at all) GRE: 730+800+4.5 research: 6 month research in bioEE. senior design research in image processing ethnicity: Chinese Asian Female, alien. applying to signal processing concentration. Is it possible to be admitted to the MS program? is it worth a try? The phd seems to be too hard for me.
