I'm a Computer Science and Cognitive Science double-major who has been applying to Neuroscience programs that have a computational/quantitative track. I was recently invited to interview and had some questions regarding my relatively unique situation. Do you think I'll be asked specific neuroscience questions? I don't have the strongest background in biology and my knowledge of the brain is mostly on a systems level i.e. your standard neuroanatomy. Anyone been in a similar situation before?

As I anxiously await decisions from the schools to which I applied, I can't help but consider (often dwell on) the possibility that I won't get into any of the PhD programs. What are some of backup plans you guys can recommend? Should I look into post-bacc programs (is it too late to apply for them anyways? Do I have to pay for them or is their financial aid available?) Do I apply for research assistant positions in order to make my application better for next year, if necessary? Should I look at getting a job? Thanks in advance!
