Hello all! Wish I had found this forum a long time ago, let me tell you!
I applied to the University of Birmingham, in England, and was accepted into their TransAtlantic Studies program which is part of their American and Canadian Studies department.
Funding is a huge issue for me, so I applied for a Fulbright as an at-large applicant. I don't know what I was thinking, my UG GPA was horrible (and I'm not talking about a 3.49 instead of a 3.5, more like I'm below a 3.0 :/) I did submit, with my application, the IQ testing that I had done that found a learning disability, the testing was only done as I was transferring to a four year university as a junior, which helps explain me low GPA. :/
I totally scared about notifications. I googled timeline for fulbright and what I found confused me. Are we all notified *by* January 31st or are we notified *on* January 31st?

OMG. That part was hard for me. I was accepted to UofBirmingham to stuyd TransAtlantic Studies so I just said that I would be studying in the American and Canadian Studies department and that I hoped to interact with my fellow students and to be involved on-campus. Now I feel like an idiot.
