I gave up all hope, contacted my rep asking for confirmation that I did not get it, only to get a response that he knew I got an award before government-shutdown but waited to let me know because my budget was significantly reduced. I suspect he is still waiting for a clarification from DOE.

Just got the email. Declined. Sad but expected.

So, have folks from cultural anthropology been getting anything? Does anyone know for sure if the panel has already met? My status is only saying "external peer review began on 03/21/13" That seems like a while ago, doesn't it?
