Yes...I am still active. I have been told that there will a series of "formal" interactions with faculty members on Friday the 23rd. I am assuming it will be similar to an interview.... Then Saturday will be pretty informal, where they will give out information about the school, housing options etc. Good luck with your visit!

Has anybody received admission decisions from Materials Science and Engineering at ISU? I have not received any notification thus far...the status check website is not very helpful either. Thanks

Hi All, I am an applicant for the PhD program in Materials Science and Engineering for this fall at MSU. Have received an invite from the CHEMS department to visit during the Prospective Grad Students Weekend. I was wondering if anyone else who has been thru this experience can share some of it with me.

Received an invite to the Prospective Grad Students Weekend in March at Michigan State. Also had a phone conversation with a professor about an exciting research project! Nothing from Iowa State yet!

I received an email from the faculty member I am interested in working for; inviting me to Prospective Graduate Student Weekend. Was wondering if this will be like an interview....would appreciate some info; especially from anyone who has been through this procedure. Thanks

Wondering if any of you have received any response from Iowa State and Michigan State yet?

I applied for PhD programs in Materials Science and Engineering at Iowa State and Michigan State (Fall 2012). Does anyone know when these schools typically send out their admissions decisions? The anxiety is killing me. Thanks Harsha
