Is there a definitive, readily available edition of Jane Austen's Mansfield Park that anyone recommends I use if I am in search of an edition that is absolutely faithful to the original? I'm seeing some variation in punctuation and spelling across editions. Thanks in advance--this is not my field but I'm sure for one of you it is!

I've been accepted to SC's English PhD program and am excited to learn more about it. My interests overlap a bit with Comp. Lit., so I'm hoping that the departments interact a bit. Will find out more during the recruitment weekend in March, but anxious to hear more from anyone around here who has insight. I honestly don't put much stock into the ratings--I applied because of faculty fit.

Oof, the wait list postings on the results board seem to confirm an implicit rejection over here. On to the next one!

Congrats to the poster on the results board who posted a phone acceptance from Emory on Monday! Were you at the interview weekend? I haven't heard yet, and was surprised they called you so soon after the visit--you must have been the best of the bunch.

I received an invitation to Emory this morning for an interview and campus visit in Feb. Looking forward to it, who else will be there?
