I heard back from them through email around the mid-January and they sent me an email for checking application status through their website yesterday.

no.. i received it through mail. And according to the results page, it seems like some people also got it via postal service.

I received acceptance through mail this Monday and the letter writes Jan. 18th. So, I'd say the situation may still be positive at this point, as the mail may take some time to arrive considering your locations.

Do you have any idea of whether there will be a mass acceptance soon? Or they are only sending notifications through mail? And congratulations on the acceptance!
