  1. UP
  2. If I could like this I would but I ran out of likes for the day
  3. Let's play the game of, "What happened last year?" Anyone know?
  4. You know you're not going anywhere
  5. Upon logging in to the demo site, this is the name: "NSF You aintgettingit" lol NSF. lol
  6. You are right, she may not be the director. But I have reason to believe she has inside information, as she is quite experienced with the NSF process, and may have a heavy hand in it every year.
  7. In case anyone wasn't aware, Robin Walker, director of the GRFP program, posted on the NSF GRFP LinkedIn profile 5 days ago: "Notification of awards/honorable mentions is just around the corner. Good luck GRFP applicants!" That was on....Wednesday of last week. So yeah
  8. 1. Playing Google Pokemon challenge 2. Final Fantasy XIV 3. Play Google Pokemon challenge and Final Fantasy XIV
  9. How do we know this isn't for next year?
  10. I was awarded an Honorable Mention last year, and I want to include it in my application somewhere. I'm not sure whether to put it in the statements, or in the "scholarships" section. Does anyone have an opinion on this? Where did you include it?
  11. Did anyone else have FOUR sets of reviews? IM/BI: VG/E VG/E VG/VG E/VG Honorable Mention
  12. Off-topic, but probably for the best since we're all apparently stressing. Did anyone apply for the NDSEG? When do those notifications come out? The website says "April," but when?
  13. It did this for me too. I came to the conclusion that because I graduated undergrad in Spring 2011, but I am a 1st year graduate student in Fall of 2012, that it was making sure that I am not a second year grad student. That's all I could come up with.
  14. So after scouring the likes of craigslist, padmapper, etc., I realize that living near UCLA is going to cost a lot of money. I also have some skepticism about using these websites to find roommates to share an apartment with. Because of this, I've decided to just post on here about it. So... I want to move in to an apartment around July. I am a 23 y/o guy with a cool cat. I am coming from Baltimore, MD, so I want to find a place so that I'm not stranded when I get out there. Is anyone else looking for a roommate? Maybe we could get a few people together and split a 3-4 person place or even a house. Cheers!
