  1. I too have applied for the Ph.D. program and am waiting for the results. I guess the guys who received admissions in February were awarded with fellowships. I am not sure if that has any bearing on our applications, as the results are usually out only by March 15, going by previous year stats. Wishing you Good Luck!!
  2. We have been asked to contact the professors for funding (RAship and TAship). Is it a standard norm at UIUC Aero?? What are the chances of getting funding?? Should we mail multiple professors simultaneously or go one by one??
  3. Thanks MCS_applicant for the info. My anxiety levels were building up a lot !! I guess Princeton results would be the first to be out !! And any idea about Purdue, Georgia, UIUC and Penn State? These with the rest complete my application list!!
  4. And I also wanted to know if you have received a PhD call from Stanford. How many PhDs does Stanford take in a year?? I received a mail from grad office upon my query that decisions have been made and letters sent.. Does that mean rejection??
  5. Thanks for the information. I have also applied to Caltech, MIT and Princeton and in fact had received a positive reply from a MIT prof who said he was awaiting my application. MIT grad office sent me a mail that my application was ready to be reviewed on Jan 12. How long do these univs take for PhD apps. And is it true that rejection mails are sent earlier than offer mails. I haven't received any from the above..
  6. Hello guys, Does anyone know what's the case with PhD applications in Stanford and Michigan. I haven't recieved any mail or postal communication from both. Should I consider my application rejected??
