Heyles, your post just made my day and helped me to calm down. I was contemplating whether or not I wanted to give my country adviser a call today and just see if they had an idea on the timeline. But, after reading your post, I'm going to try and just relax and enjoy the process as much as possible! AKA: still going to go crazy, just going to leave Fulbright alone

I think that's the hardest part of the waiting at this point, knowing that our countries (Indonesia for me) have most likely already made their decision! I wonder if our country advisers would let us know about any sort of timeline, other than just saying to look up the results from past years. Has anyone talked to their country adviser and heard anything useful?

I think that it's outlandish for Fulbright to have us put our lives on hold for this long! If I understand correctly, the supervising agency abroad has to approve our applications, and then they are sent back to the Fulbright Commission, right?

Wow! Congrats on being accepted to Teach for America! It sounds like either way, you've got a great year ahead! Definitely still pulling for Fulbright, though!

This waiting is really starting to get to me! I just want to be able to plan next year! Ughhh, come on countries, figure it out! Anybody else having a hard time focusing on this semester with Fulbright hanging over our heads?

Hey everybody! This is my first time posting to this forum, although I have been checking it out throughout the application process. I have been recommended for an ETA to Indonesia for 2012-2013! Congratulations to anybody else who has made it to this point and I can't wait to hear about everybody's experiences! Are there any current grantees or applicants for Indonesia who are posting on here? I'd love to hear your input
